LAND OF THE SILVER BIRCH
Land of the silver birch, home of the beaver
Where still the mighty moose wanders at will
Chorus
Blue lake and rocky shore
I will return once more
Boom diddy I die, Boom diddy I die,
Boom diddy I die, Boom
Swift as a silver fish, canoe of birch bark
Thy mighty waterways carry me forth
There where the blue lake lies, Ill set my
wigwam
Down by the waters edge, silent and still
My heart is sick for you, here in the lowlands.
I will return to you, hills of the north
High as the eagle soars over the mountain
My spirit rises up, free as a bird.
GWH
I assume that this song comes from North America, although it is a reasonably well-known
folk song in the UK. The final verse I wrote and added myself and it is, naturally,
copyright to me, with all monies, etc!!!

LITTLE BUNNY FOO FOO
Little Bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest.
Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head
(spoken) And along came a good fairy and she said,
"Little Bunny Foo Foo I don't want to see you
Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head.
(spoken) I'll give you three more chances. And if
you're not good
I'll turn you into a goon!" So the next day...
Little Bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head.
(spoken) Along came the good fairy and she said,
"Little Bunny Foo Foo I don't want to see you
Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head.
(spoken) I'll give you two more chances. And if you're
not good
I'll turn you into a goon!" So the next day.
Little Bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest...
(repeat as before)
Little Bunny Foo Foo, hopping through the forest...
(repeat as before)
(spoken) I gave you three chances to be good. And now, I'm going to turn you into a
goon!"
POOF
The moral of this story is "hare today and goon
tomorrow".
Please don't feel like you have to like this song to be on staff. It is allowable to
dislike this song and still be a very good staffer at CFL. Just ask Peter Henry, he hates
it with a passion. Oh, yeah, it has hand motions that go with the words. For example, make
a peace sign hop up and down and you have a rabbit.

LITTLE CABIN IN THE WOODS
Little cabin in the woods.
Little old man by the window stood.
Saw a rabbit hopping by,
knocking on his door.
"Help me, help me, help me!" he said."
Before the hunter shoots me dead."
"Little rabbit come inside,
safely to abide"
Each time this song is repeated, it is a little faster and another phrase is left out. At
the end of the song it is all motions and no words.

LITTLE GREEN FROG
Um blat! Went the little green frog one day.
Um blat! Went the little green frog.
Um blat! Went the little green frog one day.
Um blat! Went the little green frog.
And all his friends went (slap) spoat in oat e oh,
(slap) spoat in oat e oh (slap) spoat in oat e oh.
All his friends went (slap) spoat in oat e oh
And the little green frog went
Um blat, um blat, um blat blat!
When you say the words "spoat in oat e oh", make a gesture with you right hand
and arm that looks like you are twirling a lasso above you head. And stick out that tongue
as far as possible on the "blats".

LITTLE RED WAGON
You can't ride my little red wagon.
The wheels are busted and the axle is dragging.
Ha ha, next verse. a little bit louder and a little bit worse.
Philip Henry despises this song. He especially hates it after his little brother broke the
Christmas present that Phil Carrollo made for him in the summer of 89.
