Some people have asked me what our apartment was like, and so I put together this photo tour which was on the protected area of this website. Now that we're both back in the UK there's no reason why it can't be shared here now, so here it is. We lived in this apartment for 14 months (Richard) and 12 months (me) and it was very much our home. Just a pity the landlady was a totally crazy mad woman. Anyway, I digress. Journey with me as I take you on a personal tour!

Walk along the road from the train station and you will see a group of apartment blocks. Notice the highly convenient 7-Eleven store on the right-hand side.

Navigation tip: place the curser over the 7-Eleven sign to see pop up text. Only when the curser arrow becomes a hand will you find a link to another section.

This is the front entrance to the apartment block complex. Click on the small gate to enter.

This is the communal swimming pool. In the basement there's also a gym, a pool table room, ping pong tables, children's play area, a small cinema, and a space you can hire for parties.

Welcome to our apartment. The door is open - come on in.
Please remove your shoes and leave them outside - house slippers will be provided!



Straight ahead we have the balcony. Click on the door to go through or on the left to turn and face the room.

Step out onto the balcony Move to the left (excuse the mess - it's the maid's day off)



That's a great view from the balcony. Click on the distant buildings for a better view, or click on the rail to turn back. Alternatively, you can go straight to the roof by clicking here.

With your back to the balcony, this is the main living room.

OK, we're making progress now, and you have a number of choices.

The fridge is just on the left. I think there might even be some fresh orange juice left. Let's look in the kitchen , why not! Have another look at the futon... Find out what's behind the futon! Move on through the living room to the far side



OK, you've seen the fridge. All those boxes have since been moved, by the way.

Ah, yes - the kitchen. Walk in, or move back to the open space...

At the far side of the kitchen, we can step out to the laundry area. The weather is usually so warm that washing dries very quickly. The nice smell, by the way, is the fabric conditioner!

Behind the futon is... Richard's computer workstation -
connected to the internet using a wireless network.
