The weather on the way in to work this morning was awful. Cold, strong wind. Pouring rain. Yuk!
Fortunately, by the time I headed out to join the Thursday lunchtime UMRun group things had brightened up considerably to the extent that I didn’t need my jacket (for the second day in a row!).
We ran four parks (Alexandra, Platt Fields, Birchfield, and Whitworth), and it was good to stretch my legs a little more. So far this week I’ve run 5.5, 6.4, 7.2 and 8.5! I’m not sure I’ll have time to get up to 9k tomorrow morning before work!
