Today’s time was achingly close to my target of getting under 21 minutes! This was my first out-and-back course. There was a stretch along the river (which you run along twice) where it was stony under foot and difficult to run on at full speed.
I’m looking forward to trying a flat, straight out-and-back to see what time I can get. My options for this are Fleetwood Promenade, Glossop, Keswick, and Conwy.
Although not flat others have suggested Widnes and Croxteth Hall as fast courses.
After I’ve cracked 21 minutes I’d really, really like to get sub-20 but am aware that will take some serious training to achieve.
