This morning I joined my new Twitter friend Dawn Nisbet at her home parkrun in Oldham. I first met Dawn earlier in the year at Sale Water parkrun where she was visiting with Mark Brocklehurst and Steve Ramek.
I saw Dawn’s video the week before last where she responded to being called a ‘fat b**ch’ while out running. This was picked up by the Manchester Evening News (see link below).

When I saw this I just had to visit Oldham and give her a big hug! Dawn was volunteering as a marshal this morning because she’s running the Great Manchester Run 10k tomorrow. Best of luck Dawn!
