My foot is getting much better. The ankle still aches if I sit too long without it moving, but there’s no pain when I walk. I tried a light jog for about 30 seconds and it felt fine.

However, the groin strain is still there. It’s not as bad as last week but I could definitely feel it when I jogged. I’m hoping the sports physio can get it fixed tonight!

At this stage it’s tempting to start running again, but I did say I’d take a full week off and that’s still what I intend to do. I’m looking at Saturday’s parkrun as my reintroduction to running (or at least gentle jogging!).
