This morning I went to Pendle parkrun in Colne, Lancashire.

As I was driving up the M6 in rain and wind I was asking myself what I was doing. I could have stayed in bed and had an extra hour of sleep and still made it to Princes in time!

As it turned out it was a good run. The rain was just a slight drizzle in the end, and it was quite warm.

The regular parkrunners were all nice and friendly, although the Run Director didn’t ask if there were any visitors during the run briefing!

It was so good to get back to running again. My ankle was fine, although my groin still hurts.
