Week 26 – 24th to 30th June 2019
- Weekly target = 35k
- Distance run = 50.5k
This was the first week since the marathon that I’ve run further than 10k. I did a long run before work on Thursday and another on Sunday.
I’m now thinking about what my running aims should be for the next month or so. I’d like to train to run 5k under 20 minutes if possible, and I’m thinking of which flat, out-and-back parkrun I can use to test it out.
Highlights:
- Running 13k on Thursday without any injury!
Milestones:
- Reaching 1,200k run
- Reaching the end of 6 months
