My second run on the west coast of Ireland was from Dunquin to Cross at Slea Head (Trasnaigh ag Ceann Slea). I wanted to do a long run and worked out that this would be round about 10km, and I was spot on!
The Cross at Slea Head was another of the places I’d seen on Google Maps and thought would be a fun place to run to.
On the way back I bumped into a family of American tourists from Newhaven, Connecticut – the same place my Granny was from! It really is a small world!
