This morning I went to Morecambe Prom parkrun to run my first flat, out-and-back course. I was hoping it would help me get a new PB and I was right!
I worked out I needed to run each kilometer under the 4 minutes/km pace. I managed this for the first three kilometers but ran out of energy in the final two. I’m still convinced with the right training I can make a sub-20 time!
It was great to run along the seafront at Morecambe. It was a warm morning and a few people were suffering with the heat by the end of the run.
