I took a cheap pair of handheld garden clippers with me and trimmed back the brambles that were growing across Wavertree Path around the railway line side of The Mystery. Even though I got stung a couple of times from nettles and the cheap clippers broke I still ended up with a sense of accomplishment knowing that I’m less likely to run into trailing brambles on a future run.
