This morning I went to Tawd Valley parkrun to join Mel Young, Darren McMahon and Tom Elcock all of whom I met at The Wammy last week.
Darren was running his 250th parkrun and once again cake was promised. I’d been planning on visiting Tawd Valley anyway as it’s my NENDY so it was a nice surprise to hear Mel, Darren and Tom were also planning on being there too!
I was originally going to run today but didn’t want to hurt my back. I reckon I could have walked it with Mel and the tailwalker but I’d already offered to volunteer during the week.
I really had a great time with the team at the start and finish and I can’t wait to go back and run it! It’s been getting a lot of really positive comments from runners as a varied and surprising course.
