This morning I returned to Tawd Valley parkrun. I was there two weeks ago volunteering while my back healed and I’d promised to come back when I was fit in order to complete my NENDY.
There were loads of tourists there this morning ticking off the new parkrun, including two who were at Fletcher Moss parkrun’s inaguaral with me last November.
Tawd Valley is a surprisingly nice course. Surprising because it starts on concrete right in Skelmersdale town centre. It goes out along paths, through underpasses, and into the woods along the River Tawd before returning back to town. There’s a total elevation of 66 metres meaning it’s not flat!
