Today I went to Macclesfield with fellow parkrun tourism friend Jo Gibson for her Cow (50 different venues). We were originally going to go to Fletcher Moss’ 1st birthday last weekend but it was cancelled because of flooding. They were back on this week but the celebrations have been moved to 21st December and combined with their Christmas celebrations so we decided to give it a miss this week.

Macclesfield is a combination of tarmac paths and grass. There’s a hill which you have to do twice. Trail shoes are recommended if you have them but at the moment you can probably just about get away with road shoes.

I managed to get another number (my 48th) for stopwatch bingo for the second consecutive week!
