Friday was Richard’s birthday so we had a night out in Manchester and stayed overnight in a hotel. This morning I woke up early, put on my running gear, and caught the train to Stalybridge Station. From there it was a short run to Stamford Park.

The course is undulating and was very wet and muddy in places. It was a cold morning but thankfully it stayed dry while I was running. I hung around afterwards chatting with a few people before I headed back to the station to catch the train back to Manchester.
