Like many other parkrunners did on the first Saturday without a parkrun, I went out at 9am and ran my own. We’d been asked by HQ not to go to a parkrun venue so I created The Mystery parkrun instead.
I had every intention of running it every week, but it just wasn’t the same. Also, my body was really feeling the strain of running every day last year. I ran twice the week after this, then didn’t run again for another 8 weeks.
