Notes
A run of two halves, GPS-wise. I left the house using Strava on my phone with the battery at 50%. I stopped after 4.5km to see the battery was down to 7%, so I stopped the Strava, quit all the apps and put the phone into battery save mode. I then recorded the rest of the run on my watch.
I passed four churches – CofE, Methodist, Baptist and Rosicrucian. Although having just looked up the Rosicrucian Order I’m not sure it’s a church in the sense that we’d recognise.
When I’m running along streets with older houses I always look out for those that still have the original front door.
Lots of signs and posters in windows. I stopped to take a photo of one – Per aspera ad astra (through hardship to the stars) – and got a big cheer from the people inside!
“Yummy carrot cake. I wish I had you now. You are the Best Ever.”
Sunsdale Road has no houses on it.
Centreville Road – Centreville sounds like a made-up American place name in a cartoon or comic.
Saw a black cat parked at the side of the road.
And eventually (at the third attempt!) found the location of Wavertree Mill.
