Notes

I decided to head out to Princes Park by way of Lodge Lane to join Guy Roberts for a lap as part of his Lakeland 100 challenge to run 105 miles between Monday and Sunday.

As I was waiting for Guy to come round who should come along but none other than Mark, Sue and Callum from The Mystery junior parkrun! What are the chances!

I passed a Żabka store with its Polish frog logo!

I looked for a yellow door on Holmes Street but couldn’t find one.

Found Steve Biko Close.

Found a row of houses that look semi-detached from the side but are joined together down the side where you’d expect a passage to be.

One house had an apple tree growing at the front.

From what I can gather Sefton Park Mews used to be livery stables, established 1866.

Lodge Lane has The Wine Lodge, The Coffee Lodge, and Manchester Super Store – the best fruit and veg place in the city!

There were three houses all painted maroon, possibly to match the colour of the car outside.

The house on the corner of Orange Grove is painted orange.
