Notes

I’m rather jealous of those who have Croxteth Hall and Country Park on their doorstep. There are so many options for paths, tracks and trails to walk or run.

One house would definitely win a ‘My Street In Bloom’ award if it existed.

It’s hard not to mock the mock Tudor houses…

I passed a van for Chadwick Travel Ltd, named after it’s founder John Travel.

Lots more lovely houses in little cul de sacs.

Took a photo fo the Rhys Jones Community Centre and the pub Rhys was killed outside. It used to be called The Lobster but was closed down by licensing officials after police raids where drugs and drug money was found. It’s since been redeveloped and looks really nice as The Stand Farm.

I ran through the Croxteth Hall estate to get to the far end of Croxteth Hall Lane so I could run along it back to the car without having to run back along the same stretch. Looking out across the fields with the treeline and church tower in the distance it’s hard to believe you’re still standing inside the boundaries of the city of Liverpool. I also saw some cows and birds of prey.
