I’m running my first Great North Run on Sunday 12th September to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
I should have been taking part last year, but we all know what happened there… This time round I’m crossing my fingers that the race will go ahead as planned and I’ll get to run across the iconic Tyne Bridge as I head back to Gateshead Stadium.
I’m raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK because my mum has Alzheimer’s. I’m aiming to raise £400 to help fund groundbreaking research into Alzheimer’s and dementia.
