Mel is one of the admins on the UK parkrun tourists Facebook group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wammy is an out-and-back along a disused railway line. Unlike Morecambe Prom the weekend before this course has an incline so I was pleased to get close to my PB from last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterwards I joined everyone in the cafe where I met up with parkrun royalty Paul Freyne. Paul was the first person to run 250 different events worldwide, and has the unofficial Freyne Club named after him. He&#8217;s currently on 527 runs at 483 events!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also got a selfie with Vasen Moodley, the guy who became famous a couple of months ago when he turned up to the wrong parkrun by mistake and didn&#8217;t realise until after the run!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Day 243\/365 running 5k-a-day in 2019 for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AlzResearchUK?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AlzResearchUK<\/a> &#8211;
