It\u2019s on Apple Maps, but not Google Maps or OSM. Across the other side of Stonebridge Lane Google Maps still shows Hambleton Close, one of the roads in the Gilmoss housing estate that was demolished quite a number of years ago to make way for a new housing development that never happened. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve now completed the section of East Lancashire Road &#8211; shortened to the East Lancs Road &#8211; that runs through Liverpool. It doesn\u2019t show as a road to run on CityStrides because it\u2019s a trunk road, but I ran it anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Showcase is a cinema on the East Lancs Road. It calls itself \u2018Cinema De Lux\u2019 and says that \u2018luxury comes as standard\u2019. In the same area there\u2019s a Travelodge and a McDonalds, so you can have a slap up meal under the golden arches, watch a blockbuster movie in luxurious surroundings, then retire to the hotel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an actual road in Liverpool called Electric Avenue. I wonder if the road planner was a fan of the Eddy Grant 1983 hit\u2026 The song was named after Electric Avenue in the London borough of Brixton, the first street market in the UK to be lit by electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Eddy Grant -  Electric Avenue (Live in Cape Town)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gldHHrqacbA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
