Stanley Park juniors parkrun was cancelled this morning because of the high winds and cold. And it was certainly very windy on my run in The Mystery.
I knew from Wednesday that Wavertree Path (on the big loop) had a big puddle blocking the way so I thought I’d check it out in the daylight. I never actually reached it because there was a new puddle in the way. I decided not to go round it on the grass as I couldn’t tell how wet or deep it was. This rules out the ‘two big loops’ route for my early morning run, at least until it dries up.
I was a loop and a half round the park when I noticed I’d forgotten to start my Strava, so I’m adding 3.3k onto the distance recorded.
