Warrington was my NENCY – Nearest Event Not Cancelled Yet!
I had planned on wearing my red 50 t-shirt at Princes for the first time but it was cancelled because of the ice. So were Birkenhead, Widnes, Ormskirk, Phoenix, Croxteth Hall, and many others across the North West.
As I drove into the car park I spotted the car in front had a Merry Hell sticker in the back window. When I parked alongside I saw the car belonged to Merry Hell’s manager Damian Liptrot. He was joined on the run by singer Andrew Kettle.
At the end of the run I bumped into Sarah Lomas who was running at Warrington because Pennington Flash was cancelled.
