parkrun #60 – Burnley parkrun

I’d hope to join Simon Baines, the Deputy Librarian at the University of Manchester Library where I work, but he’s not been well during the week (get well soon!) so I went out to Burnley anyway because I was told they have pacers on the first Saturday of the month.
I was disappointed to find out the pacers on offer today were 18 minutes, 22 minutes, 25 minutes, and slower. I really need a 21 minute pacer or, failing that, 20 minutes. I got my 21:19 PB at Princes last year trying (and failing!) to keep up with a 20 minute pacer!
Burnely is a mainly flat course along track and tarmac paths. There’s one very short bit across grass.
