- Distance run Week 22 = 27.2k
- Distance run Week 23 = 11k
After the marathon I ran 5 days before taking the decision to stop running for 7 days and to walk 5k-a-day instead to allow my ankle injury and groin strain to heal. I’d been in pain all week and didn’t want to make things worse. It was really frustrating not being able to run, but it was for a good reason.
Highlights:
- Getting a chance to start healing and to recharge my batteries
