This morning I drove to Clitheroe to take part in Clitheroe Castle parkrun.
This parkrun is well known in the north west due to it being a five lap course with a hill that you do (not surprisingly!) five times.
This was a really friendly group of people who gave me great support for my 5k-a-day challenge, with two people giving me money in my hand. Thanks to Paul Dudbridge, and John (I’m sorry I didn’t get your surname) for the kind donations.
The Strava route says I did just over 4km and instead of five identical circles it recorded five circles of different sizes! It’s not surprising given how cloudy and wet it was. Heavy cloud and tree cover makes the GPS struggle even on my phone.
