I set off this morning to head to Alderford Lake parkrun near Whitchurch. I pulled into a layby just before hitting the motorway to check their Facebook page only to discover it was cancelled due to flooding.
It’s always worth checking!
Since I was in Runcorn I decided to revisit Phoenix parkrun as it was the closest and one of my favourites. This was my fourth visit and my first since the new cafe Chi was opened. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay so will have to visit again to check it out. Last year I was there for their first birthday at the end of January so I think I’ll go back for their second birthday next year.
