Garston Old Road is old. How old? There’s a Queen Victoria letterbox and a Victorian metal lamppost!

There’s a sign saying DOMESTIC SCIENCE above a door to a primary school. Did it used to be a college or secondary school?

Clarendon College at the corner of Long Lane Recreation Park is an independent school.

Avocet Avenue, Egret Close and Ibis Way aren’t on OpenStreetMaps and are therefore missing from CityStrides. I’ve added them to OSM and they’ll eventually get synced to CityStrides.

White House Farm isn’t a farm…

Cobblestone Corner looks like an American motel…

There’s a house with a letterbox as its letterbox…!

The Railway Cottages look very smart on St Mary’s Road, just next to (not surprisingly) the railway line.

Some of the lampposts have charging points for electric cars.

And the houses at the end of Garston Old Road are obviously a converted pub.
