Notes
The sign for Brockenhurst Road is brocken.
I ran down Wallace Street and Wensleydale. Coincidence?
I saw a couple of skeletons in the front of a van. I’m just wondering how long they’d been waiting for the breakdown service.
There are some Wirral-named streets – Caldy Road, Helsby Road, Hooton Road, Heswall Road – plus some royal streets – Windsor Road, Balmoral Road, Buckingham Road, and Regina Road.
What used to be a church on Rice Lane at the junction with Orrell Lane is now a health centre with a pharmacy at the end.
I took a photo of the Black Bull junction. You come across this when you’re driving out of Liverpool and have to decide whether to go left to Aintree and Switch Island, or right out to Kirkby.
The front door for 197 Warbreck Moor is on Hooton Road.
The Warbreck pub is closed, but there’s a stall in the car park selling hot food to take away.
Lots of places already have their Christmas lights up. I’m sure there are more up earlier this year. Is it because people want something to look forward to? Or because they just want to cheer up the neighbourhood?
