#everysinglestreet [14/07/22] Dovecot with the signs of the zodiac

This was a short, early morning run before work. I would have done more than the 5.7k but didn’t want to risk getting stuck in traffic on the way home.  

Most of the roads I ran were named after signs of the zodiac – Aquarius, Aries, Capricorn, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio and Taurus. There was no Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo, and thankfully no Cancer. I took a selfie on Libra close, for obvious reasons!

I’d planned my route to take me along a footpath from the end of Capricorn Crescent to Turriff Road. However, when I reached it I found it had been long since fenced off and I was forced to re-trace my steps and run the long way round. I’ve updated OpenStreetMap to fix this. 

I met a friendly ginger tom who posed as I took his photo.

And that’s it. Not all of my runs are as interesting as others.

Great North Run

I’m running the Great North Run for the first time on Sunday 12th September, raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. My mum has Alzheimers so this charity is close to my heart. If you can spare a couple of quid to help me reach my target I would be extremely grateful.
