5k-a-day 48/365 – Long run training for the Liverpool Half Marathon on 10th March

I’m taking part in the Liverpool Half Marathon on Sunday 10th March so need to fit in a weekly longer run to get used to the distances. I was happy with 17k today and hope to get a 21.1k run in next weekend so I can get some idea of my half marathon time.

Today would have been faster but I stopped to pick up some glass in the park, then a little later I ended up walking for a km talking to two other people out for some exercise. One of them had a parkrun t-shirt on which is why I stopped to chat!
