parkrun #66 – Phoenix parkrun (visit #3)

This was my third visit to Phoenix parkrun in Runcorn. I was there to support a fellow tourist Lynsey Burrell (from Davenport Runners, Stockport) who was celebrating volunteering at her 50th different event! Apparently it’s known as voluntouring!
There were lots of people wearing purple for the occasion, and the icing on the cake was that there was cake (with icing!) at the finish.
Well done to all concerned, and here’s to the next 50!
I made the mistake (again…) or using my watch to log my Strava run rather than my phone, hence the GPS trail is all over the place and the distance is shockingly short of 5k.
