It was lots of fun running through the Kingsway Tunnel, one of the two road tunnels under the River Mersey.
The stretch through the tunnel was actually a lot shorter than I’d imagined it to be.
The loop through an industrial park was uninspiring, but the run along the promenade to New Brighton was great!
Despite the uphill section coming out of the tunnel I still managed to get a new PB. I’m hoping to run a sub-47 minute 10k next month at the flat Liverpool Spring 10k.
Day 104/365 running 5k-a-day in 2019 for @ARUKnews – Tunnel Vision: it's the @btrliverpool #MerseyTunnel10k! And a new 10k PB of 47:16 😊
