I saw a park on the map around 5k away and decided to run there and back. What I didn’t realise is that the road leaves suburbia and heads into the industrial dockland area. It really wasn’t a pleasant run.

The park was nice, with great views across the bay to San Francisco, but I’m not sure it was worth the bother to get there.

I’d planned to run back along a different route but the road I was going to take didn’t have a pavement (sidewalk) so I headed back the way I’d come.
