I don’t know why I chose to Cheadle Hulme on a stupidly wet day. I knew it was going to be muddy, but never thought it would be muddier than Millom. Not surprisingly I got my slowest time for a long time!

32 other crazy people had the same idea and slogged around the course with me. Cheadle Hulme has a reputation for being muddy, but the team said it was the worst they’d ever seen it.
